Being Thankful

I just wrote a post on thankfulness in our main blog. In it I suggest you silently (or aloud if appropriate) thank each person you meet.

So let’s do a quick transformative imagination exercise to help you do this. Read the instruction and then immediately do it.

Close your eyes and take deep breath in and let it out slowly as you imagine yourself more relaxed than ever before. Count down from seven to one and with each count silently say to yourself, "I’m thankful for ________."

Now, take another deep breath and as exhale imagine you have the biggest smile on your face and silently count up from one to seven with each count saying silently, "Thank you ________."

And as you are doing this get in touch with the wonderful warm feeling of gratitude.

The whole thankfulness exercise takes less than two minutes and may change the whole of the rest of day to the better.

And I’m grateful that you are reading this.

Thank You!
